Razer Synapse 4 configures compatible Razer devices. This guide checks Windows downloads, the separate Mac preview, Synapse 3 migration, changes and support.

Razer Synapse 4 download: device controls and limits

Razer Synapse 4 is Razer's Windows peripheral configuration software. Razer describes controls for button mapping, macros, performance settings and Chroma RGB lighting. It can help users manage settings for supported Razer devices, but installing the software does not add hardware-specific capabilities to an incompatible mouse, keyboard, headset or controller.

Available options vary by model. Button remapping, polling rate, lighting, Snap Tap and Rapid Trigger require compatible devices and hardware. Before downloading, check Razer's supported-device list and compare the options with your exact model; promotional examples on the product page do not mean every feature works on every device.

1. Open the official Razer Synapse 4 page. Get the Windows stable release from its Windows download option. Razer separately lists Synapse for Mac Preview for macOS 15 Sequoia or newer on Apple silicon; it is a preview channel, not the same installer or version as Windows stable. Do not use the older third-party ranking URL as a current source.
2. Check that Windows is 11 x86-64, or review the current Windows 10 support limits. Confirm your exact peripheral in Razer's compatible-device list. The Mac preview's package, version and device coverage were not confirmed here. The Windows installer's signature and file integrity were not independently checked.
3. Run the installer obtained from Razer, review the requested permissions and components, and select only what you need. Save open work before any restart requested by setup. The application was not installed or run for this page.
